Why Huddles?

Huddles are intended to give employees dedicated time to celebrate customer experience wins, discuss any challenges the team is seeing, and be empowered to come up with solutions and take action in order to deliver an UNRIVALED CAMPUS EXPERIENCE.

How to Run a Huddle

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​Solicit ideas for huddle topics from the team – try to stay focused on a customer or employee experience challenge your team can directly control
  • Send out one huddle topic in advance so the team has time to think about it prior
  • Open the huddle with a moment of celebration – ask the team to share what’s been going well as it relates to the campus experience
  • Discuss the huddle topic and possible solutions that the team can execute
  • Align on next steps and who is doing what by when

Be sure to ask questions back to the team to probe deeper and pull people into the conversation.  Also try to think through the discussion through the lens of the customer, not necessarily what is easiest for IMG Academy.
